On the 14th of September I will start a hiking trip from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port 🇫🇷 to Santiago de Compostela 🇪🇸.
The total distance is 800 km and I hope to complete it in about 30 days.
I will make this journey for the benefit of our Sonskyn projects in Zambia 🇿🇲.
With Sonskyn, we help vulnerable children in 3 different schools/projects.
Donations go entirely towards building classrooms, teaching materials, clothing, food, …
This year, Zambia is experiencing the worst drought in 40 years. As a result, half of the maize harvest failed, leading to a rise in food prices of over 80%.
Therefore, we have launched a food program.
Zambia’s national dish is Nshima, a Mealie Meal-based maize meal.
With a donation of 10 euros, we can provide 300 vulnerable children with a meal.
